FUTURE YOUNG LEADERS

 

Future Young Leaders (FYL) is a leadership development program that trains, motivates, and increases the awareness of selected students between the ages of 14-19 through leadership training, community-oriented seminars, and interaction with adult leaders who model exemplary citizenship and service to community.

 

These youth work on specific health and safety related issues affecting their peer group with a culminating activity teaching other teens the importance of a healthy life style; and safety and consequences associated wit at-risk behaviors.

The program outcome is confident young leaders who are committed to advancing and positively impacting the Miami Gardens community.
